Full Service & Digital First Future Business Bank

Upon granting of an authority to carry on banking business in Australia by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA), future SME Bank aims to revolutionise business banking in Australia providing a digital-native platform that empowers customer and banker alike to bring out their greatest potential. SME Bank will achieve this by providing debt finance to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) throughout Australia for the purpose of supporting growth in income-generating activities relevant to business borrowers, primarily through funding:

  • plant and equipment;
  • receivables finance;
  • inventory finance;
  • trade finance; and
  • working capital requirements.

SME Bank understands that the scale and needs of businesses (and therefore their respective financing requirements) differ from one day to the next. That’s why it’s built intuitive technology platforms that provide credit when you need it and flexibility when you don’t, so that businesses can access funds reliably and efficiently.

The ambitions of SME Bank include providing the best service and digital experience in the country to SME clients, as well as the fastest turnaround times and the greatest product satisfaction. The team working on SME Bank can’t wait to get started and looks forward to being in touch.

Please note: SME Bank is in advanced discussions with the regulator APRA, so is not entitled to hold deposits until authorised.
